The roller grass extractor separates the carrots from any filamentous element (leaves, grass, debris, dirt, etc.) that has a section not exceeding 3/4 mm
The product is loaded onto the motorized roller conveyor via an elevator in the infeed area.
The motorized roller conveyor is made up of smooth aisi304 steel rollers with alternating blades.
A square bar is mounted on the blade roller and rotates in the direction of advancement of the product, while the smooth roller rotates in the opposite direction, in this way any filamentary element that passes over them is forced to slip between the rollers and due to the effect of the blades cut by falling onto the hopper below.
The tuber instead continues its run towards the exit.
